Dodge Caliber to be Replaced by Dodge Dart

S&L Motors, the leading Dodge dealer in Green Bay, would like to announce that the Dodge Caliber will be hanging up their cleats in favor of the recently revamped Dodge Dart. The Dodge Caliber had been in production for six years.
Although the Caliber featured a wide-variety of quality standard features, as well as optional all-wheel-drive, the car’s drivability was always heavily criticized due to their lack of power and boring power-trains. Although Chrysler Group made several revamps to the Caliber, consumers never really clung to it.
Although this closes one chapter, it opens another, that being the 2013 Dodge Dart. It will be produced at the same plant that the Dodge Caliber was in Belvidere, Illinois, which currently employs 2500 people. The plant in Belvidere has a history of building mid-sized to small Chrysler Group vehicles in the past.
The new 2013 Dodge Dart has a lot of buzz surrounding it thanks to Chrysler Group. For the past few weeks they have been teasing pictures of the interior, as well as exterior styling to build hype. And it’s working! It, the Dart, is set to feature a chassis similar to the European Alfa Romeo Giulietta. Of the photos that have been seen, Dodge hit a home-run with styling in both the interior and exterior. The Dart is also stated to be being built with high-tensile steel.
It will be almost a given that the Dart will feature ‘sexier’ power-trains that will make buyer want to buy. Also, don’t be surprised if the Dodge Dart comes with a power-train that gets 40 miles per gallon highway. The 2013 Dodge Dart is set to show its face during the 2012 Detroit Auto Show.
