The new Tradesman will include all of the old features that make it a great value, but now it will also feature a three-quarter-ton towing and cargo capacity as well, making virtually every job possible. Ram has recently stated  that the Tradesman now possesses the best-in-class title for both towing capacity and cargo capacity. With a maximum trailer weight of 11,500 pounds, the Tradesman HD beats out the Ford F-150 by just over 200 pounds and the Chevrolet Silverado by 800 pounds. On top of that, the Ram has also rolled in a 3,100-pound payload capacity, which exceeds the Ford F-150 by 40 pounds and the Silverado by 1,235 pounds.

Enough with all of the good news regarding Ram’s brute power.  Ram has also broadened the model availability in their 1500 Express trim. This will give buyers the option of opting  for either Crew Cab or Quad Cab configurations for the first time. The prices for these models will range with the 1500 Express Crew Cab starting around $28,000 and the Quad Cab starting closer to $30,000. Important to note also that destination and handling charges are not including in those prices as well. Both will still come with the company’s 5.7-liter V8 as standard equipment.

Finally, Ram has expanded the Rambox system to accommodate 6-foot, 4-inch bed lengths, meaning that Quad Cab owners can also enjoy the in-bed storage system for the first time. Ohh, I also forgot, all models will come with a 5.7-liter V8 engine STANDARD!
