Uconnect will be debuted at the 2012 International Consumer Electronics Show, CES, which take place in Las Vegas.
Chrysler Group will be busy in the next couple of weeks due to the following; the unveiling of the all-new Uconnect Touch Media Center, the new Beats by Dre Audo System in the 2012 Dodge Charger and also the unveiling of the 2013 Dodge Dart, which will be shown to the world at the 2012 North American International Auto Show. Chrysler Group got quite ambitious in their first year at CES, by unveiling two new state-of-the-art technologies that will be featured in their vehicle(s).
Marios Zenois, Chrysler Group’s Head of UConnect Systems & Services recently stated that, “Chrysler Group has listened to its customers to understand the types of technologies people want in their vehicles. Uconnect offers communication and entertainment systems that are easy to learn, easy to use and enable the driver and passenger to stay connected and entertained in a safe and responsible manner while on the road.”
Those that are attending CES will have the ability to view all the technology that UConnect offers, but for those that won’t make it here is a little snippet of what it offers drivers.
UConnect features voice commanded navigation which will allow drivers to safely interpret directions while keeping passengers safe. It (UConnect) will also offer entertainment for passengers in the form of SiriusXM Satellite Radio as well as traditional audio system accessibility. Sirius also will feature SiriusXM Traffic/Travel Link, which alerts drivers their real-time traffic speed as well as traffic conditions and accident information. Travel Link lets drivers know local gas prices of their destination as well as weather forecasts and other information that they might find important.
