Ram Debuts 2019 Ram 1500 at Detroit Auto Show

The 2019 Ram 1500 pickup debuted at the Detroit auto show last week, and this model year marks almost 90 combined years of half-ton pickup trucks between Dodge and Ram. With such a storied history, it's no wonder the Ram 1500 proves itself to be a favorite amongst truck fans year after year. At S & L Motors, we are excited for the next chapter in the 1500's history and it's already looking good.

The 2019 1500 is looking good; the models shown in Detroit were the Limited and Rebel, and each one offers a unique look and set of features. The Limited features a gorgeous analog and digital hybrid instrument cluster and a shift control dial. These features combine with a 12-inch media center to create a modern, wholly unique cabin that will impress you.

The Rebel features new 18-inch wheels with Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires that help you maintain traction even under stress. To increase off-roading capability, the Rebel has an available air suspension system, but the coil spring suspension is also top-of-the-line.

The engine featured at the show is 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with an eTorque hybrid system. This allows you to add extra short term torque and power for when you really need it. To maximize power and efficiency, the 2019 1500's body was also redesigned to be more aerodynamic, and according to Ram Trucks they made a nine percent aerodynamic improvement on the previous model year.

The 2019 1500 will debut sometime this year, but if you are interested in getting into a Ram truck today, then check out the current model year 1500s available near Green Bay.
