Dodge//SRT Offering Heritage-Inspired Customization Options

Earlier this month, Dodge//SRT announced that an all-new Shakedown Package has been added to the plethora of stripe options available for the Dodge Challenger. These options are included in the customization choices for the Challenger R/T Shaker, R/T Plus Shaker and 392 HEMI® Scat Pack Shaker models.

Dodge//SRT enjoys the challenge of meeting enthusiasts' demand by offering a variety of models, engines, trims, packages and heritage colors that draw on the legendary Dodge performance attitude. The Shakedown Package continues in this tradition, offering asymmetrical racing stripes that flow from the rear decklid, over the roof and around the Shaker hood scoop. Inspired by the 1971 Dodge Shakedown Challenger that made its debut at the 2016 SEMA show, this package also includes white-face gauges on the instrument cluster and a premium Alpine audio system.

Two heritage exterior paint colors are also now available for 2018 model year Charger, Challenger T/A, T/A Plus and T/A 392 models, as Dodge is reintroducing B5 Blue and Plum Crazy to the marketplace. First introduced in 1969 and 1970, respectively, these two hues have long been in high-demand by enthusiasts and collectors alike, evoking the famous "Mopar-or-no-car" legacy that's prevalent with muscle-car-era aficionados.

In a press release, Steve Beahm, Head of Passenger Car Brands, Dodge//SRT, Chrysler and Fiat – FCA North America, commented, "Dodge//SRT has a rich history of using iconic heritage and high-impact colors and unique graphics to make our vehicles look custom, straight from the factory."

At S&L Motors, we're proud to serve drivers from the Pulaski, WI, Green Bay, Ashwaubenon and Howard areas.
